Interested in the book “The American Staffordshire Terrier in the Netherlands Part II” of Wil de Veer? This hard cover book of 704 pages is a sequel to Part I. It deals with the history of the breed in the Netherlands, mentioning all official kennels and their bred litters and main dogs and you will find, among other things, the pedigrees of all imported dogs. These pedigrees by themselves are already over one hundred and fifty in number. This book should enable you to trace the descent of all Am Staffs registered in the Netherlands and most of them even as far back as 1850. Though the first book was already sensational because of its volume, contents and many colour photographs, the new book is well-illustrated again with really magnificent colour and black and white pictures. You will also meet the man behind the Am Staff. Unlike part 1, this edition also pays attention to the bigger and prominent European and American kennels, with their owners and main dogs. Likewise the history of the race is described of more than fifteen European countries and you will find out what dogs they started breeding with.

We are therefore proud to publish this book. It has a clear division and was written in a pleasantly readable way. It is published in the same size as the first book and again in a luxurious get-up of a very high quality. At the moment it can only be ordered through the “Old Hickory” kennel. Please  send an email to old.hickory@wxs.nl if you are seriously interested in ordering this wonderful book.
